Open air cinema - THE NOTEBOOK

In The Notebook, an elderly man reads from his faded journal to a woman (Gena Rowlands) in a nursing home. As he recounts the story, we are taken back in time to witness the love story of two young people from North Carolina, Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling), who come from completely different backgrounds. Allie is a girl from a wealthy Southern family, while Noah is a working-class boy raised in a modest home where musicians once gathered on the porch.

Despite their differences, they fall deeply in love and share one unforgettable summer together—until they are torn apart, first by Allie’s disapproving parents and later by the outbreak of World War II. When the war ends, everything has changed. Allie is engaged to a successful businessman, and Noah lives alone, pouring his heart into restoring a 200-year-old house.

But when Allie sees a newspaper article about Noah’s renovation, she realizes she must find him again—and finally choose between following her heart or doing what’s expected of her.
